River J. Krimmer

What a joy it is for me to help people see themselves clearly and to support their ability to express their unique gifts in the world!  Always looking for opportunities to inspire change, I work one on one and in small groups to examine the lessons in our life’s experiences, with the hope that the outcomes will become more aligned with our desires.
Bringing awareness to the opportunities of the present to change habits (of behavior and thought), which could lead to a more fulfilling life and personal evolution, is my passion.

I moved from my hometown of Mt. Shasta, California and have been living in Santa Cruz since 1996. I graduated from Aptos High School in 2000 and then continued my education at Cabrillo College for 4 years. I then transferred to University California Santa  Cruz  completing the psychology intensive major in Psychology in 2008.  After graduating  with my Masters in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2011, I started working in private practice with teens, families, and young adults while also working as a Clinical Technician at the Camp Recovery Center in Scott’s Valley supporting teens and adults as they transitioned through their addictions.

With over 10 years experience leading and co-leading  teen groups, I am passionate about creating change and making a difference in the lives of those struggling to be happier and healthier. I strive to help others recognize their potential for greatness while learning to be “OK” with who they are.
