I started my career at a young age in the early 1980’s working first in the construction trades for family businesses and then for friends who were small business owners. I soon made the jump from blue collar to white collar when a friend referred me to be recruited by a marketing consulting company. This is where I won the award for highest sales totals across the entire company. In the early 1990’s I was recruited to be a managing partner of a construction equipment leasing company which grew to achieve 90% market share in its geographic region. In the late 1990’s after the successful sale of the equipment leasing company, I co-founded a technical staffing and recruiting agency in the Silicon Valley as V.P. of Sales and Business Development during the Dot.Com boom which grew rapidly to achieve top 5% status amongst its peer companies. I was then recruited by a tech start-up to run operation as a COO before deciding that Career Coaching was my truer calling. Along the way, I have found balance in life by dividing my time between creating and selling fine art paintings, doing home repair and construction projects, recruiting for client companies who continue to ask for help, and career coaching individuals who are in search of greater levels of job satisfaction and/or higher levels of compensation.
I have owned, managed, and sold a number of business across multiple industries. Finally, I realized my own “Dream Job” in Recruiting and Career coaching since owning a Tech Staffing agency in Silicon Valley since the mid 1990’s.
